What is Xero?
Xero is a cloud based ERP launched in New Zealand in 2006. It has a large number of features. But is most likely know for its ease of use. As well as its simple and modern UI. It also has a large number of reports. Also the add ons highly increase its use. But these features do come at a cost. So with its pricing, its more suited for mid and large sized businesses. Does it make sense to use Xero in India?

Xero
Xero is a cloud based software. And can be used on any device. You just need an internet connection to use it. And a web browser. All modern web browsers are compatible.
Xero also has mobile apps. You can download and use these apps on android and IOS. Also, apps for a few add ons are separate.
Xero offers over hundreds of adds ons / integrations. Also, if those add ons aren’t enough, Xero also integrates with Zapier. Which connects the software to over hundreds of more add-ons. Although, note that some Xero add ons are only for a few countries and not for all. Xero also offers API for developers.
It also has a excellent uptime and security features.
Xero in India
Xero launched in 2006 in New Zealand. At the time, cloud based ERPs werent well known. So it was a quite a different scene back then. However, now, a large number of people have access to the internet. So we’ve seen cloud based ERPs becoming more common.

Xero doesn’t have an edition specific for India. And the basic plans limit most of the features. Also, if you have more than one business; each business would require a separate Xero plan. So If you run a small business, do check out the other ERPs available as well. Though it still makes sense for a few companies for use Xero in India.
